Friends and activists are going to meet him outside the detention facility.
Political prisoner Pavel Seviarynets, a co-head of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party (BCD), serves a sentence in a special detention facility in the village of Kuplin (Pruzhany district) for participating in the post-election protests. His term expires on October 19, the BCD press service informs.
Pavel Seviarynets was arrested in Independence Square on the night of October 20, 2010. He was thrown into the KGB jail for five months and later transfered to special detention facility N. 7 in Kuplin on a decision of Minsk's Zavadski district court on May 16, 2011.
