6000 enthusiasts kick off cycling season in Minsk - in pictures

The Viva, Rovar! or Viva, Bicycle! bike parade took place for the second time on April 30 in Minsk. Last year, 3000 people partcipated in the cycling season kick-off. This time around, at least 6000 enthusiasts arrived on their bikes to the Victory Park.

This year's route was longer streatching from WWII Victory Stella to Minsk Arena and back to the Victory Park where festivities continued.

Many cyclists were dressed up in a variety of costumes ranging from Super Mario to Soviet military uniforms from the WWII times.
