Belarus' potash output reported down 6.4 percent in first seven months of 2013

Belarus' potash output decreased by 6.4 percent year-on-year in the first seven months of 2013, totaling 2,981,300 tons, reported the National Statistical Committee (Belstat).

In July, potash output totaled 413,900 tons, 18.7 percent less than in June 2013 and 14.6 percent less than July 2012.

The output of nitrogen fertilizers decreased by 5.3 percent year-on-year in January-July 2013 to total 469,700 tons.

In July, the output of nitrogen fertilizers totaled 58,100 tons, 24.8 percent more than in June 2013 and 15.7 percent less than in July 2012.
