Enterprises’ net profit has fallen by 36%

The net profit of Belarusian enterprises has accounted for 26.8 trillion roubles in the first half-year of 2013.

As compared to the same period last year it has decreased by 36.2%.

The statistics come from the report "On unprofitable organizations in the Republic of Belarus in the first half-year of 2013", which has been published on the National Statistics Committee’s web-site.

The sales proceeds have increased by 9.3% and accounted for 613.6 trillion roubles, the cost price has grown by 11.7% up to 487.7 trillion roubles. The sales income has dropped by 25.9% down to 44.6 trillion roubles.

The profitability of the sold goods and services has dropped from 13.8% to 9.2% in January-June 2012, while the profitability of sales has dropped from 10.7% to 7.3%

The number of unprofitable enterprises has grown by 46.8% up to 734. Their net loss total has doubled having reached 3.7 trillion roubles.
