The average price of apartments in Minsk’s used housing market decreased by 0.62 percent between March 29 and April 5 to $1,436 per square meter, according to a survey by the Realt.by real estate center.
The price has been on the decline in the last five weeks.
The Tsentralny and Savetski districts remained the highest priced areas in Minsk, with the average apartment price being $1,687 and $1,568 per square meter there as of April 5.
The Zavodski and Maskowski districts were the cheapest areas in Minsk to buy an apartment. The average price was $1,300 and $1,377 per square meter there, respectively.
The average price of apartments in Minsk fell by 0.59 percent to $1,516 for one-room apartments, by 0.21 percent to $1,439 for two-room apartments, by 0.86 percent to $1,377 for three-room apartments and by 2.66 percent to $1,353 for four-room apartments.
Apartments in newly built houses were priced between $700 and $3,000. The average price increased by two percent to $1,298 between March 29 and April 5 and by 4.4 percent between January 1 and April 5. The average price in the used housing market increased by 0.6 percent to $2,222 per square meter in Kyiv and by 0.5 percent to $4,279 in Moscow between March 29 and April 5.
