Belarus’ oil refineries produced 1,592.5 billion rubels worth of products in January 2010, or 31.5 percent less than in January 2009, according to the National Statistics Committee.
In particular, the output of fuel oil reportedly decreased by 35.3 percent year-on-year, motor gasoline by 28.5 percent, diesel fuel by 27.4 percent, and furnace oil by 8.6 percent. The production of biodiesel fuel increased by 93.5 percent and lubricating oil by 42.2 percent.
