Belarus, Saudi Arabia to exchange experience in using AI in auditing

Chairman of Belarus’ State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is scheduled to meet with President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Alangari, BelTA learned from the State Control Committee of Belarus.

The main purpose of the visit is to implement the agreements to enhance professional cooperation between the agencies in bilateral and multilateral formats and to negotiate a memorandum of cooperation.

The parties are set to exchange experience on the use of the latest technologies and artificial intelligence in audit activities. In addition, Vasily Gerasimov is scheduled to meet with representatives of the Digital Government Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The partnership between the supreme audit institutions of Belarus and Saudi Arabia was launched at a meeting between Vasily Gerasimov and Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Alangari on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June of this year. The parties reached an agreement to exchange visits and to establish stable contacts in order to share best practices in state audit activities.
