Belarus' FM, Brazilian president exchange views on food security

Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with President of Brazil Luiz Lula da Silva on the sidelines of the BRICS summit on 24 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Potash fertilizers and food security were the main topics for discussion,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement. “The parties also exchanged views on some other issues.”

The ministry added: “The invitation to visit Belarus has been renewed.”
