The prices for goods and services went up by 2.9% in February 2016 in comparison with January and by 4.8% – in comparison with December 215, the National Statistic Committee reports.
The index of consumer prices excluding the changes of some prices is affected by seasonal and administrative factors. It incased by 1.6% in February in comparison with January and by 3.1% in comparison with December 2015.
The prices for food increased by 2.1% in February 2015 in comparison with January, for inedible goods – by 1.4% and for services – by 7.55. The increase in comparison with December 2015 was 3.6%, 2.6% and 11.8% respectively.
According to the current forecast, the inflation rate is not expected to exceed 12% in Belarus in 2016.
