But it wants the percentage of Belarusian medicines on the market to reach 50% by the end of 2015.
The Belarusian Ministry of Health is not planning to restrict the sales of imported medicines in Belarus.
"It is not indicated in any law. Foreign medicines are present on the market,” BELTA quotes the Ministry of Health. The only problems may occur when producers are changing their production sites. Then they need to register their medicines again.
The Ministry has also commented on the order to control the prescription of medicines and promote domestic drugs. The order is meant to activate the promotion of domestic medicines among doctors and the population, the Ministry announced. It is one of the ways to make the percentage of Belarusian medicines on the market reach 50% by the end of 2015.
