Belarusian biathlete Darya Domrachava has been voted the best female athlete of the Sochi Olympics in a poll conducted by the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), according to media reports.
Forty-five percent of the reporters polled by the organization have voted for the 27-year-old Ms. Domrachava, who won three gold medals at the Games. The top three also include Slovenian Alpine skier Tina Maze with 21 percent of the vote and Norway's cross-country skier Marit Bjorgen with seven percent.
Norwegian biathlete Ole Einar Bjorndalen has been voted the best male athlete of the Sochi Olympics.
