Scandal: Fire at modernized Borisovdrev workshop (photo)

The incident occurred last night in Barysau.

7 groups of rescuers arrived there. They requested special equipment from the other districts of Minsk Province later. 39 rescuers and 17 machines were involved in putting out the fire.

A lamp caught fire on the roof of the workshop. It is a one-storey building with a warehouse and an administrative building attached to it. The workshop was under reconstruction.



The fire was put out three hours later – at 4.33 a.m. The lamp and three woodworking machines were damaged. The warehouse that contained new products and equipment was saved.

There were no victims. The reason for the fire is being investigated now. It is known that equipment was dismantled by a brigade of workers in the workshop on Tuesday evening.
