A criminal case has been started today. "Considering the information that we have, we decided to start a criminal case under Part 2 Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus upon the fact of inappropriate fulfillment of professional obligations by the medical workers, which caused death of the patient," says representative of the Investigatory Committee Andrei Kazheunikau, quotes Interfax-West.
Before this, Lukashenka has given instructions to dismiss all the guilty medical and administrative personnel of the clinic and use restrictive measures against them.
23-year-old Julia Kubarava died after a rhinoplasty surgery. The reason for death is claimed to be breakage of the lung ventilation apparatus, unofficially. The official version has not been announced yet. The law-enforcement agencies are investigation the incident.
