After a number of punishments, received from the administration, regular correspondence with the family of human rights defender Ales Bialiatski has been resumed.
Wife of the political prisoner Natalya Pinchuk said that her husband supports her with his letters, reports the Belarusian service of Radio Liberty said.
"In his last letter Ales, again, was trying to support me, withdraw from gloomy thoughts. And he always succeeds. Melancholy yet is not for us. He said that he still works, and does not comment all these penalties as if he did not notice them. It is clear that they are trying to make his life there unbearable, but he is holding," says wife of the political prisoner.
In July, Ales Bialiatski was deprived of visits and standart number of parcels he can get. Human rights activist was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison on charges of concealing large income from abroad. According to Ales Bialiatski, all the money, he received from abroad, was coming to the aid of victims of political repressions in Belarus.
