The leader of the Movement "For Freedom" Alyaksandr Milinkevich was hospitalized with a fractured right hand.
As the politician's wife Inna Cooley told UDF.BY correspondent, he fell down the stairs, as a result "the elbow popped, part of the bones was broken".
Milinkevich had surgery under general anesthesia, during which the joint was straighten. A few days later he still needs a small operation, so he will remain in the hospital for 10 more days.
