In a brief telephone conversation with home Eduard Lobov the prisoner of the Volchiy Nory prison said that on September 10 he and three other political prisoners - Fedor Mirzoyanov, Pavel Vinogradov and Alexander Frantskevich - again were urged to write an appeal for pardon addressed to Alexander Lukashenko.
This was told to Radio Liberty Marina Lobova the mother of political prisoner.
"Son said that they refused. And the form of appeal is not discussed - must be an admission of guilt. He didn't manage to say more - suddenly it became hard to hear and the call cutoff", said Marina Lobova.
Earlier, Eduard Lobov and Fyodor Mirzoyanov were offered to write an appeal for pardon in August and at that time they refused too. The fact that a similar proposal was received by Pavel Vinogradov and Alexander Frantskevich is known for the first time.
Fedor Mirzoyanov and Pavel Vinogradov were sentenced for the events of December 19 to 3 and 4 years in prison respectively.
Eduard Lobov was sentenced to 4 years on a charge of disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred the day before the election. The activist of the anarchist movement Alexander Frantskevich was sentenced to 3 years in prison for taking part in series of attacks against buildings of official institutions.
