The level of air contamination in some Belarusian cities has gone up due to the long-lasting heat wave and a lack of rain, National Center for Radioactive Controls and Environment Monitoring told BELTA news agency.
The concentration of formaldehyde По is higher than normal in Vitsebsk, Brest, Mahilyou, Orsha and Minsk.
The level of hard particles is higher than normal in Mozyr, Minsk, Zhlobin, Mahilyou and Vitsebsk. Besides, the concentration of ammonia, phenol and nitrogen dioxide is higher than normal in Mahilyou.
