The most successful Belarusian tennis player lost seven positions in the world ranking after the Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon.
After the final at the tournament in Eastbourne, Victoria Azarenka managed to improve her position in the WTA Champions Race by four points. But after our tennis player lost in the third round of the tournament at Wimbledon, she fell to the 18th line of the world ranking. Now she has 3,090 tournament points to her credit.
Other Belarusian athletes took the following positions:
Olga Govortsova, dropping two places, occupies 40th position (1,315 points);
Anastasiya Yakimova went up 11 lines and took 131st position (506);
Iryna Kuryanovich made 5 steps back – 171st (334);
Daria Kustova lost 14 positions – 172nd (332);
Katsyarina Degalevich went up 12 steps and has 173rd position (330);
Tatiana Puchak remained 319th (135);
Ksenia Milevskaya lost three positions and has 381st position now (98);
Anna Orlik improved her rating by 7 positions and has now 591st position (40);
Victoria Emelyanova also rose by 9 positions and has 633rd position (34);
Ima Bogush is also progressing – she went up by one position and has 789th place (17);
Lydia Morozov rose by 11 lines – 913th (10).
