Lukashenko: Belarus will start bottling its COVID-19 vaccine soon
Belarus will start bottling its own COVID-19 vaccine in the immediate future, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he talked to employees of the Zhuravlinoye farm and residents of Pruzhany District on 19 August, BelTA has learned.

“We bought more masks, protective equipment, and now the minister asks me what to do with it. In the near future, we will start bottling our vaccine. But I will tell you once again: don't worry too much about it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The head of state recalled that he had always advised Belarusians against fretting over the coronavirus and urged them to take care of their health. “If you live a healthy life, you should not be afraid of diseases, especially this kind of infections. We just need to hold out, to work hard. Those who want to live long take care of their health,” the president said.

“The coronavirus is still present in our country. Right now, most of COVID-19 patients are treated at home. This kind of coronavirus is different, it is becoming a seasonal virus, as we expected. If you want to get a vaccine, it is probably a good idea (I have not been vaccinated, but I probably need to),” the president added.
