Belavia performs maiden flight to Georgia's Kutaisi
The Belarusian air carrier Belavia performed its first regular flight to Kutaisi on 4 August. Kutaisi has become the third Georgian city on Belavia's route map. The Belarusian air carrier performs regular flights to Tbilisi and Batumi, BelTA learned from the press service of the airline.

Flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays, with departure from Minsk at 9:35 and arrival at Kutaisi International Airport at 13:35. Return flights from Kutaisi are scheduled at 14:25 with the arrival time in the Belarusian capital at 16:30. Time for all airports is local. Today, Belavia performs 31 flights from Minsk to the Georgian airports a week.

The minimum Light fare is €85 one way and €169 round-trip. More information about the flights and tariffs is available on the website belavia.by.

The service will be operated by a 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft (12 seats in Business Class and 64 in Economy Class). Travel time is about three hours.

“Launching regular flights to Kutaisi International Airport, we are taking an important step to further expand the airline's reach. Kutaisi is located in the heart of hospitable Georgia, and we are confident that this destination will be popular with both tourists and business travelers. Despite the fact that the main type of aircraft to be used on the route is Embraer, the first flight from Minsk today has been performed by a 170-seat Boeing 737-800. This, no doubt, shows us attractive prospects of the new flight,” Belavia's Director General Igor Cherginets said.
