Chief physician of the ambulance station in Bobruisk Sergei Chudov has lost his job. According to paramedics, today, 22 May, is his last working day.

The reason for the specialist’s resignation remains unclear, none of the officials commented on the situation. Deputy Head Physician Natalia Vezhnovets will be fulfilling Chudov responsibilities. The health worker held the post for five years.

Earlier, Bobruisk paramedics who treat COVID-19 patients filed a complaint to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko. They stated that they were not paid additional pay promised by the president. The appeal was signed by 200 people.

The management then held a staff meeting to reassure everyone and explain how the presidential decree works. However, when a TV crew of a state channel came to cover the story, a scandal broke out.scandal broke out.

Doctors were indignant when they found out that the crew was to show a “pretty picture”. Out of two hundred dissatisfied employees, the reporters interviewed only two who got their allowances. As a result, shooting was stopped and correspondents left with nothing.
