Car runs into Kurapaty picketers at high speed

One of the visitors of the restaurant “Poedem, Poedim” ran into the picketers near the entrainment complex at about 4 p.m. on July 25, BCD co-leader Pavel Sevyarynets told Radio Liberty.
Uladzimir Ch. approached the territory of the restaurant at a high speed (70-80 km/h), the activist said. The picketers stepped aside seeing that he was not going to slow down. Then the driver tried leaving the territory at a high speed but ran into the picketers and his car mirror got broken.
"The picketers did not let him pass and he started a fight with Zmitser Kazakevich. Kazakevch’s shirt was torn and he suffered bodily harm. The police are dealing with the driver. They are looking through the available videos. Zmitser Kazakevich has left for Baraulyany to lodge a complaint about the attack and undergo the necessary expertise,” Sevyarynets reported.
The picketers had no problems with the other drivers who came to the restaurant on July 25, he added.
The picket near the restaurant “Poedem, Poedim” situated near Kurapaty started on May 31. The defenders of the memorial complex demand to close down the entertainment complex.
