Polish colsular offices are expected to have issued approximately 400 000 visas to Belarusians in 2017, Poland's Ambassador in Minsk Konrad Pawlik told tut.by.
"We will know exactly literally in two weeks if the number of visas is the same as last year or maybe slightly more," the diplomat explained.
Polish national and Schengen visas are issued in Belarus in 12 offices: 3 Polish consulates in Hrodna, Brest and Minsk), 8 visa processing centers and the Latvian consulate in Viciebsk.
Ambassador Pawlik noted that Poland is keen to issue more multiple-entry and long-term visas. Demand for Polish visas is growing across Belarus. "We are happy of course. In the previous years, it was more diffuclt to receive a visa, including through the Polish Conslulate," he added.
