Vilnius police publishes photo of person who threw petard at Belarusian Embassy

Vilnius police have published the photo of the man suspected of having thrown a petard at the Belarusian Embassy. This person was seen running away from the embassy right after the explosion, ru.delfi.lt reports.

The police are investigating the incident that occurred on the evening of May 18.

An unknown person threw an item to the embassy yard and it exploded. It was reported to be a petard. No people were injured and no property was damaged in the blast.

The police have looked through security camera recordings. The young man is a suspect now.
