Minsk police chief calls sculpture of policeman ‘a sacred place’

A criminal case has been started against the young man for participating in a happening: he had put a loop on the statue’s neck.
Barsukou: "He is an ordinary hooligan. Hr approach the monument – this sculpture is scared for all the policemen (I have served in the police for 30 years and I have been to all the hot spots) – and put a loop on it. I wonder what it could result in if he had not been detained.
Rights defenders have announced Vyachaslau Kasinerau a political prisoner.
