Film Festival Listapad opens in Minsk

The international film festival Listapad will open in Minsk today, on November 4. The first films will be shown in the cinema houses Centralny and Mir. The opening ceremony will start in the cinema house Moskva at 5.30 p.m., BELTA reports. The Russian film Petersburg. Only For Love will be shown at the ceremony.
The next films will be shown in Piyaner, Peramoha and at the Museum of History of Belarusian Cinema. 159 films shot in 45 countries will be shown at the festival. 83 of them will participate in the contest.
11 films will be shown during the main contest and 12 – in the contest Marching Youth. 8 films will compete in the category of children’s films and 12 – in the contest of documentaries. 6 cinema schools with 16 films will participate in the contest of national cinema schools and 24 films will take part in the national contest.
