Every fourth pensioner keeps working in Belarus. It is more than 651 thousand people (25.1% of all pensioners – 2 million 527.1 thousand people). There are twice more women than men among them – 438.4 thousands and 212.8 thousands respectively, deputy head of the pension department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection Larysa Yashkova told BELTA.
458 women and 536 men aged 80-89 and 6 women and 13 men aged over 90 keep working in Belarus.
