A 4G network was launched on 17 December in Minsk. It is the fourth generation of mobile communications. It has replaced 3G. The construction of the new network, which will allow mobile phone companies to provide their customers with additional services at high speeds cost the operator $30 million. It was created using the LTE Advanced technology. In Minsk, the stable connection is provided by 150 new base stations of the network.
