The director of the Belarusian Free Theatre tried getting into the Belarusian pavilion but Gandalf wouldn’t let him do it: you shall not pass.

“When we approached the Belarusian pavilion, I felt some uncontrollable patriotism inside,” director of the Belarusian Free Theatre Mikalai Halezin wrote on Facebook.

However, the exhibition did not impress the travellers and they did not manage to enter the Belarusian pavilion right away. The pass was closed by an iron chain with The Lord of the Rings poster showing Gandalf who said ‘You Shall Not Pass’.

When the Belarusians walked around the pavilion, they saw a Belarusian delegation inside. They managed to enter only at night – right before the EXPO closed. It is not clear why our pavilion was closed during the day.
