Anatoli Mikhailov steps down as rector of the European Humanities University only to become its newly appointed president.
“This is public information now. Anatoli Mikhailov’s position will be called President of the European Humanities University. An open intentional contest for the position of the rector will be announced. The acting rector will be appointed for the time being,” EHU told Euroradio.
More information will be available one of these days when the festivities dated for the beginning of the new academic year are over. Anatoli Mikhailov is refusing to comment on it at the moment.
A scandal that started in EHU last autumn is connected with Mikhailov. Head of the Senate Pavel Tserashkovich was dismissed back then. A group of teachers also left the university.
