The Barysau team has defeated Bratislava Slovan at home – 3:0.
It was the return match of the Champions League play-off qualification. BATE dominated for the most of the match and had many opportunities to score goals (Vital Radzivonau hit the post and the crossbeam). Mihail Hardzyaichuk successfully finished the combination started by Dzmitry Lihtarovich and Vital Radzivonau during the 41st minute.
Syarhei Chernik saved BATE twice at the beginning of the second period. Then the Barysau team took the game under its control again. Slovan’s Suma was disqualified during the 79th minute. Syarhei Kryvets scored another goal with the help of Andrei Yakauleu’s pass during the 84th minute and Vital Radzivonau scored the third goal a minute later – 3:0. BATE will play in the group stage of the Champions League again! The team did it for the first time when Alyaksandr Yermakovich was its chief manager.
