The Belarus state security agency says it has nothing to do with the reportedly failed operation to detain a former BPC manager in Moscow.
The KGB spokesman Artur Strekh said in a comment for Radio Liberty that it was an 'absurd information of provocative character.'
Artur Strekh also confirmed that any actions of the KGB officers at the territory of the Russian Federation were impossible in accordance with the legislation.
According to media reports, some unknown people tried to detain top-manager of the Belarusian Potash Company Dmitry Samoilov on October 25 in Moscow. The media reports suggested the unidentified people were the officers of the Belarusian KGB. After the incident, the Uralkali security service took all the company's employees who attracted operative interest of the Belarusian KGB, under protection.
