This decision was adopted on May 22 by the court of Soviet district of Minsk. We remind, Marina Tsyblienko demanded the compensation for moral damages, which she has allegedly been caused by Ivashkevich's statements. She also sought termination of calls for sanctions against Belarusian goods.

Because of Tsyblienko's lawsuit the politician appeared in the lists of restricted to leave Belarus. At trial, he tried to explain that Europe imposed sanctions because of the political prisoners in the country, not because of his appeals, and the financial situation has worsened because of the Belarusian authorities' economic policy. However Tsyblienko was adamant. She stated, there are no political prisoners, the government does everything right when increases prices, and the reason of devaluation was the global crisis.
