According to the information provided by BelaPAN, President of the International Federation of Human Rights Souhayr Belhassen, Mayor of the district Patrick Bloch, his Deputy on international relations Pierre Shapiro held speeches at the action. The speakers urged to stop repressions in Belarus, to release all political prisoners, to unite the forces of the international community in this regard.

Human rights ambassadors of many EU states, including Sweden, Austria, Hungary and France arrived to the action. There were also HR defenders from Africa, Maghreb, America, Asia, Eastern and Western Europe.

Let us remind you, Byalyatski was sentenced to 4,5 years of imprisonment in a reinforced-security colony with property confiscation. The human rights defender was accused of tax evasion. In the reality, the money on his bank accounts was used for human rights activity.
