Marek Migalski, member of the European Parliament, was not allowed to enter Belarus last night, the PAP news agency reports.
Mr. Migalski was detained while crossing the Belarusian border. He was later told that he would not be allowed to enter Belarus. The Belarusian border troops failed to provide any explanations for the ban.
Marek Migalski was going to visit Belarus on invitation by the Human Rights Center “Viasna”. He was expected to have meetings with civil society and opposition representatives.
