Viktar Tsyareshchanka said on Friday that his nomination group had collected more than 103,000 ballot-access signatures.
The economist became the fifth presidential contender to claim to have gathered more than the required minimum of 100,000 voter signatures for registration as a candidate in December's election.
"As of the morning of October 22 my nomination group had collected 103,800 signatures," he told BelaPAN.
Earlier this month the nomination groups of incumbent leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka and opposition politicians Uladzimir Nyaklyayew, Andrey Sannikaw and Yaraslaw Ramanchuk announced that they had gathered over 100,000 signatures.
A total of 14 contenders have been left in the presidential race. The ballot-access signature collection stage ends on October 29.
