Lukashenko to pay state visit to China on 28 February-2 March

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to pay a state visit to the People's Republic of China on 28 February–2 March, BelTA learned the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The visit will make its contribution to a multi-year course of building relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with the People's Republic of China. At the bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in September 2022, the leaders of Belarus and China adopted a joint declaration to bring their relations to a new level - all-weather and all-round strategic partnership.

The analysis of what has been achieved and the maximum implementation of the potential of the new level of relations will be the main theme for discussion at the forthcoming meeting of the two heads of state. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet one-on-one and also hold talks with the participation of delegations. The talks will focus on trade, economic, investment and humanitarian cooperation, implementation of joint large-scale projects, interaction in the political field, response to the most acute challenges of the current international situation.
A large package of documents on the development of relations in key areas will be signed following the talks.
In Beijing, Aleksandr Lukashenko is also set to hold a number of meetings with top officials of the People's Republic of China and top managers of the leading Chinese corporations.
