“The modern world is facing great challenges, and the success in confronting them determines the ability of the states to preserve their sovereignty and independence. These concepts are the highest values for the Belarusian and Turkish peoples. I am confident that through joint efforts our countries will be able to overcome all existing difficulties on their way,” said Evgeny Shestakov.
“Supporting each other in the international arena, Belarus and Turkiye are developing bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas,” he said.
Evgeny Shestakov expressed confidence that the further realization of the potential of Belarusian-Turkish relations, especially in the economic sector, would fully contribute to the strengthening of the ties of friendship between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Turkiye. “Belarus sincerely counts on the implementation of the bilateral agreements with Turkiye reached during the recent high-level contacts. Belarus has always regarded Turkiye as an important and promising partner, as well as a reliable friend,” he said.
The deputy minister of foreign affairs also drew attention to the fact that Turkiye is one of the world centers of development, which has been consistently confirmed throughout the history of the state's development. “I am convinced that the Republic of Turkiye will approach its centennial celebration next year, in 2023, with new achievements both on the regional and global scale,” Evgeny Shestakov stressed.
