Vyacheslav was detained on 12 May, at about 20.30, in his own apartment. According to the volunteers, two police reports were drawn up against him for picketing by placing a slipper of white-red-white colours on a car and a white-red-white flag with the Pahonia emblem on the window.
According to the man, the slipper was originally pink, but as a joke, he decided to draw a white stripe on it. Vyacheslav explained that he had attached the slipper to the car about a year ago, “so as not to hit his leg against the car.” He removed the white-red-white flag from the window long ago and hung it on the wall inside his house.
Minsker asked the judge of the Minsk district Kropachev not to punish him with arrest, since he is preparing for an operation in the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology. But the judge considered the guilt proven and sentenced him to 15 days of arrest. By a court decision, the slipper and the flag will be destroyed, volunteers report.
