Mikalai Lukashenka spotted in company of presumed stepbrother

On June 26, Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s youngest son Mikalai and his alleged halfbrother Dzmitry Abelski were present at the Belarus-Switzerland beach football match which took place within the umbrella of the 2nd European Games.
The Belarusian president has two sons of the marriage with Halina Lukashenka, whom he has never divorced. Iryna Abelskaya, Lukashenka’s former personal physician, is commonly regarded as the mother of his youngest son, although this fact has never been officially confirmed. It is still unknown whether she put Mikalai under his father’s care voluntarily – the journalists are barred out from interviewing the woman.
Her eldest son Dzmitry Abelski works as an ophthalmologist and teaches at the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
