Lukashenka wins his own prize

Team of Alyaksandr Lukashenka has won the Christmas International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament with the prize from the President of Belarus for the twelfth time. In the final match the Belarusian team defeated the Russian national team – 8: 5. Lukashenka scored one goal.
On January 7th, in the final match on the ice rink of “Chyzhouka Arena” team of Alyaksandr Lukashenka beat the Russian team with a score of 8: 5, “Pressball” reports. Lukashenka scored a goal and made two passes.
The Team Russia, which reached the final of the Christmas tournament for the thirteenth time, lost it for the tenth time.
The Russian team was made up mostly of amateurs. Also several former well-known professional players play in it. The Belarusian team consists of players who have recently completed their career and active professionals.
The bronze medal in this tournament was awarded to the team of Finland which in the match for the third place beat the United Arab Emirates — 6: 3.
