The Belarusian police have expressed interest in yet another one more popular blogger. Pavel Spiryn, author of The Stepfather film, which has collected over nearly 400 000 views on YouTube, will need to visit Minsk's Leninski District Police Department on Monday.
Pavel Spiryn, 33, is a civic activist from Minsk neighborhood Kamennaja Horka (Stone Hill). He used to work for the state-run housing and utilities company but was fired, according to Nasha Niva.
In December, Pavel uploaded his film The Stepfather but the police expressed interest in him only now.
Pavel has been known for his active citizenship. He filed all of his videos (including The Stepfather) to the govenrment bodies.
It is not the first time the Belarusian police is after a blogger. A criminal case on charges of insulting President Lukashenka was recently opened against a 19-year-old youngster who runs his political YouTube channel.
