The mosque in Minsk's Griboyedova Street was in construction for 13 years. It is to be officially opened by President Aliaksandr Lukashenka and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on November 11. Around 800 people including Turkish businessmen and representatives of Belarus' other churches - Orthodox, Catholic and Jews - will take part in the ceremony.
