Interaction between Belarus and EU discussed in Minsk

Belarus Deputy Foreign Minister Alena Kupchyna and Head of EU Delegation Andrea Wiktorin met in Minsk on October 24 to discuss interaction between Belarus and European Union, including interaction in international organizations. The press office of Belarusian Foreign Ministry notes that Kupchyna and Wiktorin also discussed the ways for further development of cooperation.
Belarus and European Union have improved relations in the past months. Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Anatol Kalinin today was on an official visit to Belgium. During the visit, he discussed the possibility of full lifting of sanctions against Belarus. EU commissioners are reportedly ready to consider this issue.
