Mikalai Lazavik on October 17 was dismissed from the post of the Central Elections Commission secretary. President Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed his resignation on October 17, reports the press office of the Belarus leader.
Mikalai Lazavik served as the CEC secretary from 2000. As a deputy to CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna he organized four presidential election campaigns when Aliaksandr Lukashenka always won.
