The Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea might appear in Belarus.
The matter was discussed at the meeting of Andrei Grinkevich, Head of the Asia, Australia and Oceania Office of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Director of the Third Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of DPRK O Son Ho in Minsk on 19 September.
The sides also discussed the matters of bilateral relations and cooperation on the international level, MFA’s press service reported.
The North Korea’s official was in Belarus on a working visit.
Belarus and the DPRK established diplomatic relations on February 3, 1992. North Korea buys Belarusian tractors, trucks and spare parts. Pyongyang has diplomatic representations in many countries around the world, including embassies in Germany, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Russia, and other European states.
