Opposition set to nominate about 300 candidates for parliamentary election

The opposition structures in the election observation campaign Right of Choice are planning to propose 195 candidates in 110 constituencies at the parliamentary election in September 2016, deputy head of the Movement For Freedom Yuras Hubarevich announced at a press conference of the campaign Right of Choice-2016 in Minsk. However, it is not clear how many of the candidates will be registered. About 300 candidates may be proposed by the opposition.

The election is appointed for September 11. There will be one ballot for the first time – those who score more votes than the other candidates will win.
