Belarus’ new military doctrine provides for resistance to all types of aggression including so-called ‘hybrid warfare’, Minister of Defence Andrei Raukou has announced in the House of Representatives today.
Euroradio reporter Zmitser Lukashuk asked the Minister whether the doctrine provided for resistance to the so-called ‘hybrid warfare’.
Raukou: "This is a mixture of traditional and non-traditional actions. The situation will show... Our military doctrine provides for everything.”
Russia is still Belarus’ main ally, the Minister said. “We are members of the Union State. We have numerous agreements. We are close relatives – we are Slavs,” he added.
