The two sides have discussed the priorities of economic cooperation and the role of the regions in the Belarusian-Ukrainian dialogue.
Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei negotiated with head of Odessa Oblast Administration Mikheil Saakashvili during his working visit to Ukraine on August 13, the Belarusian MFA press service reports.
Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin and the Ukrainian President’s advisor Ruslan Demchenko also took part in the negotiations.
“The two sides have discussed the priorities of economic cooperation and the role of the regions in the Belarusian-Ukrainian dialogue, prospects in the field of logistics and transport and the possibilities of increasing the transit of Belarusian goods across Ukraine,” BelaPAN reports.
The Belarusian Foreign Minister’s visit to Ukraine started on August 12 and will end on August 16.
