A former deputy chairman of the Belarusian Military Court, Yuriy Tuzau, goes on trial on December 2 on charges of bribe-taking.
The Belarusian Supreme Court's press service told RFE/RL that Tuzau face up to 10 years in jail if convicted.
Press service representatives declined to release information about Tuzau's pretrial status or details of the accusuations.
Tuzau served at the post from 2007 to March 2014.
On June 1, President Alyaksandr Lukashenka closed the country's military courts.
Longtime Defense Minister Yury Zhadobin resigned last week in what observers said could be a military shakeup driven by concerns raised by the conflict between government forces and Russian-backed separatists in neighboring Ukraine.
